On the Path by the Shore is a single-edition, Coptic-bound accordion artist book, accompanied by a slipcase. This work is a collection of original poetry and illustrations that intertwine the natural environment with the emotions and small, personal moments experienced in solitude. The book reflects my desire to explore how the natural world influences my thoughts and emotions. Each poem is an autobiographical reflection on quiet moments spent alone in nature, where fleeting experiences, imagery, and passing thoughts inform both the poetry and the illustrations.
